GPS Golf Guru New Guru 4 More Functions & Improvements

By Darren Zahradnik

For players who love the GPS Golf Guru the new GURU 4 is a worthwhile upgrade to consider. The Guru 4 upgrade will build upon the strong customer foundation of the GPS Golf Guru. It offers functions not accessible in other golfing gadgets or previous models of the GPS GOLF Guru.

The GURU 4 update will have the same great customer service as the original. This reputation for swift, competent service has played a role in the popularity of the GPS Golf Guru . Loyal customers will find the same quality of service they've come to expect.

Guru 4 sets itself apart from its competition, and the previous GPS Golf Guru. How? It does this by offering multiple functions that aren't directly related to golf. One of these is the ability to store and play music. No other golfing device offers this option. Golfers can leave their single-function music device at home when on the course.

Additionally, the Guru 4 includes a movie playing feature. Some player may find this feature useful by viewing their favorite swing tips while waiting. Now if they used to carry a separate devise for this, they can leave it at home, thanks to the Guru 4. One more non-golfing feature of the Guru 4 is its built-in picture viewing function.

Players often utilize their golfing GPS units to record data related to each stroke of their round, to be evaluated later. With this information, they can create improvement strategies. The Guru 4 allows several different types of data to be recorded.

The GURU 4, like the version that preceded it, offers other features for player improvement. In addition to those features offered by the GPS Golf Guru previously, the GURU 4 gives golfers several new advantageous functions.

The Guru 4 features AerVu technology, which makes aerial view maps of the course available to the player. In addition to these full-color maps, a player can also download as many of the standard course maps as he or she chooses, without paying additional fees.

Significant improvement has been made in the Guru 4's GPS reception capabilities. A 20-channel, built in GPS receiver is included. This high-sensitivity receiver can function even in areas known for poor reception, thanks to new technology.

Not only has the reception technology been enhanced, the new receiver has increased speed of acquisition. Combined with the sensitivity of the receiver, this means that players no longer must cope with the frustration of long acquisition times, or weak signals.

The GURU 4 is slightly larger than many other golf GPS devises, but it also boasts one of the largest displays available, in full color. GPS Golf Guru's customer service excellence, innovation, and quality products are already well-known. While the GURU 4 offers a variety of specifications previously not included in a golf-oriented GPS device, it remains to be seen whether consumers are willing to pay more for multiple functions that aren't related to their golf game.

If so, then the GURU 4 update will soon become a golfing must-have. If the company has miscalculated, however, it will become a costly footnote to the success of their previously marketed units.
