Upon arrival at the enclosure, the group also witnessed how dinosaur clones were developed by means of manipulating old mosquito DNA consisting of dinosaur blood preserved in amber. Since the damaged mosquito DNA contained certain gaps, the scientists resorted to filling these up with reptilian, amphibian, and avian DNA structures. As population was regulated by breeding only female dinosaurs, the Jurassic park toys that were initially developed highlighted the same logic of female counterparts.
With the initial Jurassic park toys resembling female dinosaurs, males too have been created to reflect the plot in the movie. In the movie, conflict started when the breeding process went beyond the intended plan of the geneticists causing the project to go against what have been initially agreed upon by the people involved. A gigantic Tyrannosaurus Rex was the highlight of the first film and Jurassic park toys developed a line for this main character. The initial movie ended with people regaining control over the dinosaurs and the island was shut down for good; but of course, new storylines with more exciting scenarios filled up the following films for the franchise.
